Planters

Anybody can become a planter for this project.

In line with our belief that we want to involve and compensate local stakeholders at the grassroots level, we have however decided to preferably involve local communities and smaller local NGOs. For that, we ask prospective planters to contact us and to inform us about their site and about their aims for the money they plan to raise.

Conversely, larger NGOs and Government partners are expected to act merely as intermediaries who contact suitable planters, provide for assistance and education and act as local project managers.

Beqa Adventure Divers have set a price of FJD 1,000.00 per planted hectare.
FJD 500.00 will be disbursed when the plants are in the ground and a further FJD 500.00 is being paid upon inspection of the site after 6 months.
