Nakorovou Village

Nakorovou Village, Rewa

Site Description

The name of the planting site is Bai Nakorovou and is situated along the coastline and around an adjacent island, Nasowata, where the village aims to establish an Ecotourism project. The principle purpose of planting mangroves is to protect the village from tidal action and also maintain the shoreline of the island. Propagules are mainly the of Rhizophora species and covers one hectare in total.
